Evangel Master's Degree Cohort

Willard Public Schools is excited to partner with Evangel University to offer a cohort-based Master's Degree program designed specifically for Willard teachers. This page will serve as a central location for program information, updates, important dates, and application details as they become available.

Through this partnership, selected Willard educators will have the opportunity to earn a master’s degree through Evangel University while continuing to work in the district. The program is designed to support working professionals through a cohort model and flexible scheduling options. Willard Public Schools will cover tuition costs for participating teachers, while participants will be responsible for university fees and textbooks.

District Statement: Willard Public Schools is proud to invest in the professional growth and development of its educators. In support of this commitment, the District has partnered with Evangel University to offer a Curriculum & Instruction Master's degree pathway. We are excited to support your participation in this valuable opportunity and look forward to the impact it will have on our schools and students. 

If you are selected to participate in the Master's cohort, the District will provide you with a separate agreement that outlines your requirements and responsibilities in order for the District to pay the tuition costs associated with your Master's degree program. That agreement includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  1. The timeline in which you must complete your Master's degree;
  2. Your commitment to continue working at the District for a total of five (5) years, including the two (2) years during cohort participation and three (3) years following your degree completion; and
  3. Your repayment to the District in the even you fail to complete one of the above-mentioned Master's degrees or if you separate employment with the District prior to the completion of the three-year employment requirement.
