- Dollars are paid out by stage. For example, if a teacher does not hit stage 3 (e.g., completes 87 hours), they stay in stage 2 and are paid for 75 hours at $3,000.
- At least 60% of hours must involve student contact.
- In the event a minimum number of hours are not met for a particular stage, the staff member will revert to the previous stage and compensation level
- The minimum number of clock hours per stage must be met for a teacher to be eligible under the Career Ladder Grant Program.
