March 6th Announcements

Congratulations to our top scoring athletes in the Tiger Track Challenge. The following Athletes scored the most cumulative points after 7 events of athletic skills testing: 8th-grade boys: Caleb Kuchta, 7th-grade boys: Jackson Cathron, 8th-grade girls: Kailyn Washington and 7th-grade girls: Elyssa Anderson. The top 10 scoring athletes per grade level are posted in the gym and in the hallway across from Coach Brabo's room, go see the results. 

 

WMS CARE coin drive on will be held this week, March 4th - 7th.   There will be a jar in your team core classes to put money in for the CARE animal shelter in the Springfield area. We will have a scoreboard in the cafeteria to keep track of each team's progress. Each dollar earns your team one point for your team, up to 200 points.   Be sure to support CARE and help earn some points for your team!

The Shark Market will be today during Action. You teachers will provide information about products, costs of items, and when each class will shop. This will raise money for local charities.  A second day of shopping will be held next Tuesday, March 12. 

8th grade students interested in playing tennis next year should attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 20th at 7:10 am in the upper gym.

Friday, March 8th is the LAST DAY to place your pre-order for this year's 2018-2019 yearbook! Book price is $35 and can be purchased via check/cash with Mrs. Loveland or online via credit card.

Be sure to mark March 21st on your calendar! WMS is hosting a carnival themed parent -teacher conference night!  More information to follow!!

The WMS Student Event Council will be hosting a Spring dance on Friday, March 22nd from 7-9 pm.  Tickets will be on sale during lunch beginning Tuesday, March 19 for $5.  A signed parent permission form is required to purchase a ticket.  We hope to see you there.

BeyBlade club will meet today and again on the 20th after school in the library.

Any 7th grader interested in being an office worker next school year should stop in the Counseling Center and pick up an application.  Deadline for applications is March 21st.
