Parent Orientation Night
Willard Central Parents,
Please plan to join us for our Parent Orientation Night on Tuesday, August 27th. This evening is designed to help parents and teachers collaborate about the learning taking place in their student’s classroom and grade level. Your child’s teacher will be sharing information on how to make this a successful year and learning experience for your child. The information discussed will range from classroom routines and procedures to homework and grading practices. To help ensure productive educational dialogue, we ask that children not attend these sessions. If you are unable to provide your own childcare for the evening, childcare will be provided while parents attend their classroom meetings. Our desire is that ALL parents attend to hear this important information about your child’s learning for a successful school year.
To better accommodate parent schedules each teacher will provide 2 parent orientation sessions about classroom expectations, learning and routines. Our goal is to allow parents with multiple students the opportunity to get information from multiple grade levels/ classrooms. The following is a list of the planned sessions times:
6:00 – 6:30 Session 1
6:30 – 6:45 Visit Specials Area/ Special Services Teacher
6:45 – 7:15 Session 2
Thank you for making plans to join us for this important night and making this priority to invest in you child’s education. If you have questions, please contact your child’s teacher or the office at 831-4440.
