Homecoming Week activities were held from 9/17/18 through 9/21/18, and hit with Willard North students. Every morning of Homecoming Week, students were greeted in the morning by Willard High School students from various sports teams and organizations. Many students stated that seeing these Willard role models each morning was the highlight of the week. In addition, students were giving a different spirit wear theme each day. These ranged from Onesie Wednesday all the way to 'Merica Monday. The finale came on Friday as every student and staff member from every school lined the streets of downtown for an all-Willard parade. A lot of work went into making this week happen, so WNE would like to thank all of those who put time into making this special memory.
At the Willard R-II School District, student safety is paramount. Reports of bullying are, and have always been, taken seriously and investigated. If you have knowledge of a bullying situation you are encouraged to promptly report such incident to a school employee, including specifically the Assistant Superintendent or Building Principal.
