Art to Inspire

Following a 2017 grant to give the Willard South Courtyard a face lift, Kindergarten teacher Jamie Roweton asked new Willard High School Art Teacher, Carly Anderson, to complete a mural that translated their school mission onto the walls of the courtyard.

Carly happily accepted and was able to begin this mural project this fall with the help of Willard High School educators and students. High School students paired with our Willard South Tigers to lead them through the painting process. Because of their hard work, phase one of the mural is complete for students to enjoy. We love this story of our Willard High School students and Willard South students coming together as #1Tiger for a common goal! This is just one example of the unity developing across the District.  Take a look at these gorgeous pictures of the mural progress!
