Aspiring Leaders
This Aspiring Leaders Program caters to individuals aspiring to delve deeper into the role of a school administrator. Participants will engage in hands-on experiences alongside district leaders, gaining insights into the diverse facets that shape the school environment. Anticipate exposure to a range of experiences, including data analysis, honing interview skills, understanding building maintenance, and exploring various aspects of student management.
Why should I join?
People are drawn to education because they aspire to make a meaningful impact on lives. Both teachers and administrators play crucial roles, each contributing uniquely to the educational journey. Administrators, in particular, have the opportunity to extend their positive influence across all classrooms.
What qualifications do I need to participate?
- Complete at least 1 year of teaching within the Willard School District
- Have at least 3 years of teaching experience
- Have begun or completed your Administrative Master’s Degree
What will be expected of me?
- Attend 4 district Aspiring Leader meetings per year
- Be willing to grow professionally
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of confidentiality
- Demonstrate professional actions and decisions
