Willard High School Information
Willard High School is an A+ certified secondary school. In addition to a rigorous core curriculum of math, science, language arts, social studies, and reading, we offer a wide range of elective and exploratory classes from which students can choose. We compete in a wide variety of interscholastic sports, activities, and clubs.
Our district has a strong reputation for academic excellence, as evidenced by receiving waivers for consecutive years from Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP) reviews from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). We consistently beat the state average in every category of the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP). We have one of the highest starting salaries of any school in Southwest Missouri, and we are always interested in dedicated teachers with a strong commitment to student achievement and development.
The Willard School District encompasses a large and diverse geographical area. The town of Willard is a community of approximately 4000 people located eight miles northwest of Springfield, MO.
