I have been a Willard employee for 17 years. I began working for the district in 2004. My husband Glenn and I have two children. Our son, Calvin, is a 2011 Willard graduate. He is currently serving as a Captain in the US Army Corps of Engineers. Our daughter, Sarah, is a 2020 Willard graduate. She is a sophomore at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar where she is studying Nursing. We also have two dogs and two cats. I love getting to spend time with my family. We enjoy the opportunity to worship together at Crossway Baptist Church. Our family has dedicated our lives to the calling of serving others. Before Willard, I taught fifth grade in Kansas for three years while I completed my degree at K-State. After I graduated with my degree in Information Systems, I worked as a programmer creating databases for the U.S. Army Chemical School that housed information concerning Chemical and Biological Weapons. Upon completion of that project, I worked for the United States Department of Homeland Security until 2003. In 2004, I returned to a career in the field of education to have a work-life balance because my husband deployed with the Army. I taught 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade math and science, and then I had the opportunity to become an instructional coach at the high school in 2009. In 2010, I became an administrator at WHS.

I have been working in Willard for two years. Before Willard, I was a college basketball graduate assistant coach at SBU for two years. From there, I took a position as a high school PE teacher at Bolivar High School, while there I was also an assistant football and assistant basketball coach. My wife Crystal and I have three kids: Beckett (6), Boston (4), and Bonnie (2).  We also have a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix named Duke. I like to be active in my spare time. I run two miles a day when I get home from school, play basketball, ride my bike, golf, swim, hike, etc. I love spending time with my wife and kids. We do all those activities together, as well as just trying to make each other laugh.
