I have been a Willard employee for 17 years. I began working for the district in 2004. My husband Glenn and I have two children. Our son, Calvin, is a 2011 Willard graduate. He is currently serving as a Captain in the US Army Corps of Engineers. Our daughter, Sarah, is a 2020 Willard graduate. She is a sophomore at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar where she is studying Nursing. We also have two dogs and two cats. I love getting to spend time with my family. We enjoy the opportunity to worship together at Crossway Baptist Church. Our family has dedicated our lives to the calling of serving others. Before Willard, I taught fifth grade in Kansas for three years while I completed my degree at K-State. After I graduated with my degree in Information Systems, I worked as a programmer creating databases for the U.S. Army Chemical School that housed information concerning Chemical and Biological Weapons. Upon completion of that project, I worked for the United States Department of Homeland Security until 2003. In 2004, I returned to a career in the field of education to have a work-life balance because my husband deployed with the Army. I taught 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade math and science, and then I had the opportunity to become an instructional coach at the high school in 2009. In 2010, I became an administrator at WHS.

This is my 11th year in education, and 5th in the Willard School District. My career has been spent between two school districts, Crane and Willard, where I was a baseball coach and physical education teacher. Following my time as a coach, I was Head Principal at Crane High School for two years before returning to Willard to serve as Assistant Principal here at the high school. I have been married to my wife Kyia for 11 years. She is also an educator in the Willard School District! Together we have three children, Gibson (9), Ozzie (7), and Miller (5), all of whom are named after St. Louis Cardinals players. Our kids are heavily involved in athletics, so we are constantly on the go from back park to gym to fields. In my spare time I enjoy golfing, hunting, kayaking, and spending time with my family at home.
