Early Childhood Special Education
Willard Schools' Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) program supports children ages three through Kindergarten entry, providing specialized services to ensure they are well-prepared for Kindergarten and beyond. Our half-day program runs Monday through Thursday and is offered at both Willard Orchard Hills Elementary and Willard North Elementary.

Notification of Proportionate Share Meeting
The Willard School District's Department of Special Services will host a virtual consultative session for parents and private school officials of Parentally-Placed Private School Students, which include children in private, parochial, and home schools (within district boundaries). This meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 2:30-3:00. If you are interested in attending, please contact the Willard Special Services office at 417-742-0930.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss key issues relating to the equitable participation of eligible private school children with disabilities in federally-funded special education and related services.
