New Employees

Our tuition-based pre-k has a home in each of our five elementary buildings. Students attend all day, five days per week, and follow the district calendar. Students experience all aspects of school—including special area classes like art, music, and PE, taught by certified teachers—fully preparing learners socially and academically for Kindergarten.

Staff members at Willard Public Schools enjoy a discounted rate for our before and after school program, TigerTALES. This program offers enriching activities from 6:30 a.m. until school starts and after school until 6:00 p.m., with options available on early dismissal and make-up days. For an entire school year, staff pay a one-time $35 enrollment fee and $50 per month per family. Visit our TigerTALES page to learn more! 

Longevity compensation is awarded to certified and classified employees beginning their 11th, 16th, and 21st consecutive year of full-time service. Eligible employees receive an additional $500, $1,000, or $1,500 added to their regular salary

Years of service are not determined by salary schedule steps. Full-time equivalency, as defined by Willard Public Schools, includes employees eligible for health insurance.

Consecutive years of service mean there is no break in service during the preceding 10, 15, or 20 years. Approved leaves do not count as breaks in service but also do not contribute to the consecutive years required.

A: Payday is the 20th of each month. 

A: You will be paid the Friday before the 20th. 

A: Willard Public Schools requires direct deposit of paychecks. 

A: Please do not close your direct deposit account before checking to see if payroll has been processed and sent to the bank. If you close your account before checking with payroll, your pay could be delayed.

A: Yes, you can get this information from the HR Portal under Pay History. When you click on print, you will be asked for a password. Your password is the last four digits of your Social Security Number.
