Employee Benefits

Our tuition-based pre-k has a home in each of our five elementary buildings. Students attend all day, five days per week, and follow the district calendar. Students experience all aspects of school—including special area classes like art, music, and PE, taught by certified teachers—fully preparing learners socially and academically for Kindergarten.

Staff members at Willard Public Schools enjoy a discounted rate for our before and after school program, TigerTALES. This program offers enriching activities from 6:30 a.m. until school starts and after school until 6:00 p.m., with options available on early dismissal and make-up days. For an entire school year, staff pay a one-time $35 enrollment fee and $50 per month per family. Visit our TigerTALES page to learn more! 

Longevity compensation is awarded to certified and classified employees beginning their 11th, 16th, and 21st consecutive year of full-time service. Eligible employees receive an additional $500, $1,000, or $1,500 added to their regular salary

Years of service are not determined by salary schedule steps. Full-time equivalency, as defined by Willard Public Schools, includes employees eligible for health insurance.

Consecutive years of service mean there is no break in service during the preceding 10, 15, or 20 years. Approved leaves do not count as breaks in service but also do not contribute to the consecutive years required.

Education Benefits

Eligible Willard Public Schools employees and their immediate family members have access to benefits including:

• One free credit hour per semester when beginning an eligible Drury GO degree or certificate program

• Flexible evening and online degree programs and certificates

• Personalized academic advising and support

• Courses taught by experienced professionals active in their fields

• Assistance identifying additional financial aid and grant opportunities

Drury GO offers more than 30 degree and certificate programs, including Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Behavioral & Community Health, Human Services, Education, Paralegal Studies, Applied Psychology, and more.

Eligibility

To qualify for the partnership benefit, participants must:

• Be admitted as a degree- or certificate-seeking student

• Submit a valid FAFSA and complete verification

• Demonstrate financial need beyond federal/state aid

• Be a current Willard Public Schools employee or an immediate family member of a current employee

• Enroll in at least three credit hours per semester

Pre-Certification Training Programs are not eligible for this partnership.

How to Get Started

Employees and eligible family members interested in participating should:

1. Explore available programs at drury.edu/go

2. Complete the Drury GO application and submit required transcripts

3. Apply for the Employer Engagement Partnership Scholarship

4. Complete the FAFSA using Drury University's school code 002461

5. Meet with a Drury GO advisor to review transfer credits, develop a degree plan, and register for classes
