New Student Enrollment Information
All new students must begin their enrollment by contacting the District Office at 417-742-2584, located at 500 E Kime, Willard, MO. The following dates have been scheduled for new students enrolling in Willard Public Schools for the 2023-2024 school year:
PreK - 6th Grade: July 26 & July 27
Middle School: August 10
High School: August 1-4 (by appointment)
How to Register New Students to Willard Public Schools

Step 1 - General Information
Students' primary parent/guardian must call or come to the District Office to begin the enrollment process for their student(s).
Information you will need for the pre-registration process:
- Phone numbers and addresses for all parents/guardians for the student.
- Names/phone numbers for Emergency Contacts (need two contacts other than parents).
Enrolling Preschool Students
Enrollment for the 23-24 school year is available to children in the Willard district who are 4 or 5 years old and are intending to enter Kindergarten the following school year. Pre-K classes are housed in each of our elementary buildings and are led by a certified teacher.
Step 1: Call District Office at 417-742-2584 to start the enrollment process.
Step 2: Schedule a Pre-K Screening at your home school for your 4 or 5 year old and pay $40 non-refundable enrollment fee.
Step 3: Complete necessary enrollment forms and attend Pre-K screening in the Spring.

Enrolling Kindergarten Students
Register your 2023-24 Kindergarten students who will be five (5) years old on or before July 31, 2023. If your student is currently enrolled in Pre-K at Willard Public Schools, you do not need to complete new student registration.

Step 2 - Required Documentation
The following documents are required for enrollment and may be submitted electronically. If you are not able to upload the documents electronically, please call the Willard District Office (417-742-2584) to schedule a time to come in.
- Proof of Residency - must provide one of the following documents that are dated within the last 60 days, lists the SERVICE address, company’s name, and the parent/guardian's name. (required). If you need to complete a multifamily form, please contact the District Office at 417-742-2584.
- Utility Bill/Agreement
- Lease Agreement/ Rental Receipt
- Mortgage Statement
- Legal Property Description-Deed
- Real Estate Property Tax Receipt
- Birth Certificate (or copy)
- Social Security Card (or copy)
- Up-to-date Immunization Record

Step 3 - Enrollment
After the required documents have been submitted and the pre-registration process is complete, parents/guardians will be contacted by the students' individual building(s) and parents/guardians will complete the school enrollment forms electronically through the Parent Portal.
Upon completion of the enrollment forms, the schools will work on requesting the students' records from their previous school, if applicable. Once the records are received, parents will be contacted by the buildings for next steps.
