• High School Principal Qualifications:

    • Education level: A Specialist Degree from an approved institution with a major in educational administration or the accepted equivalent is preferred.  A Master's Degree from an approved institution with a major in educational administration or the accepted equivalent is required.
    • Certification or Licensure: Appropriate Missouri Administrative Certificate.   
    • Experience desired: Five years of successful building-level administrative expertise. 
    • Other requirements: Must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the Board of Education. Experience, maturity, and leadership abilities in appropriate facets of school administration.  Sensitivity to the needs and objectives of the student, school, and district; the ability to supervise, evaluate, and manage the work of others; leadership skills in the area of curriculum development, management, and evaluation.
