You can sign up for a Canvas observer account by following the directions in this guide, Canvas Parent Accounts. You must have your student’s Novell username and password to sign up for an account.

The high school instructional coaches, Amber Hainline and Janetta Garton, will be available to answer your questions and/or assist you with signing up for a parent observer account in room 105 during Open House, August 18 from 6-8 pm. WHS is excited to partner with you this school year in helping students to achieve their best.
Canvas has an exciting new User Interface that we will activate on Monday, May 23rd. It has been in beta as a feature option since Summer 2015. We have intentionally waited to activate it, choosing a date that we felt would be the least disruptive for students and staff. On July 9, Canvas will remove the beta label and it will no longer be a feature option that we can choose to have turned off. The new User Interface reflects Canvas’ commitment to continually improve and respond to users’ needs. The changes are minimal and basically involve the Dashboard and the Global Navigation, both of which are quite intuitive. You can read about the details in this guide or watch the video below. Teachers can also choose to attend the preview on Monday, May 9th, 2:05-2:20 in Meeting Room 105.
